Reverse: 1999 is a 20th Century Time-Travel Strategic RPG developed by Bluepoch.
On the last day of 1999, the "Storm" fell upon the world. You witnessed an era reversed beneath the rising raindrops. Defying all reasons, what unfolds in front of you is the world of an era long past.
As the Timekeeper, observer of eras, you are free to travel through these eras after each "Storm." With the aid of Sonetto, a powerful Arcanist and ally from the Foundation, your mission is to travel through eras to where the "Storm" is most active, find other Arcanists who can sense the coming "Storm," and save them from being "sifted out" of the timeline.

While I suck at playing (massive skill issue on my part), it's a really fun game. It's quite friendly to F2P players and the fact you don't have to gacha for weapons is really nice. My favourite thing is how the story has actual stakes and the characters aren't 1 dimensional husbando/waifu bait. Visuals are gorgeous, voice acting is superb, and the UI is really unique.

First i found the story totally confusing but after the intro they Story got more structure and i start to like it a lot. The characters are unique and complex. The backgrounds are interesting and i also like the gameplay. I'm playing the game for over a year now and still love it. Not every storypart attached me the same way, but they are all unique and even so they stand alone they are also a pice of the whole story. I love how you do it, thanks for so many emotions (laugh, excitement...)

Reverse: 1999 is a pretty good game! The story/lore is very fascinating and it's actually enjoyable to read, unlike in other games where I skip the entirety just to get the currency for reading it. The gacha aspect, as much as I don't like this in games, is very generous. I started playing the game at release and I have already gotten both of the limited characters, and several other 6 stars. There is next to no co-op, which is a shame and I would enjoy seeing this be added in the future.
