Google Earth

For some reason the Google Earth isn't showing any streets at all on my app and it has been this way for months. I drive a school bus for trips and it helps me to see what parking lots I can pull into and fit without hitting cars etc. It has been so helpful for my job now it is infuriating. Please help!! UPDATE!! August 31,2026 The more things don't change the more they stay the same. The app still doesn't show details no matter how many details you want to have on the satellite view. FIX THIS!

since a couple of months ago, the local-only mode got more buggy. It's such an old and mature app! Making your central features more and more buggy is totally avoidable. Why change what worked before. I just want to use my local .kml-files in peace. Don't make me sign-in with any of your cloud "features". Why, Google? Why not freely-license this mighty app. Given that it's just one of a trillion companies you acquired? This should be doable... Hope they let us keep our local-only stuff!

I really like discovering landscapes with Google Earth. Unfortunately, its VERY slow. Sometimes it'll freeze, causing me to need to restart the app. Other times it'll crash on its own. This app has a lot of potential otherwise. I think with some updates and/or bug fixes, this app could be perfect (for me)!
