This has to be the dumbest system ever. Tactical play is useless. If your opponent is higher level he does not only have stronger units but also MORE units than you, making winning impossible even if the AI that controls the other deck doesn't make terribly poor choices (and even then I am not sure. Having one or two extra cards is a lot in this game.) Losing battles yields absolutely nothing. The only way to progress from your starter deck is thus buying card decks. And you thought Hearthstone was bad pay to win.

Game is unique, but it does fall over quickly when you run out of the two items needed for new or upgrading existing cards. When you play online with people you realise the pay to win is hard on this game; they need to work on catch up mechanics because you quickly peak and cannot progress further without a really long grind or by forking over cash.

Poorly balanced ranked mode ruins all the fun. As soon as you start to play in ranked mode, the games pits you against opponets you can't win against due to different levels, especially right before you'd hit another tier in the arena. Example: before hitting 1000 points to proceed I constantly got thrown into fights with opponents far more advanced than me (sometimes level 60 plus), and furthermore, loosing a ranked game costs you more points than you get from winning them. PAY TO WIN BS!
