Obsidian

I've been using Obsidian for 4 years. I can't imagine using it only on mobile, but as an extension of the desktop app, the mobile version is fantastic. The only thing that I really miss is faster syncing or background syncing. With the current system I need to wait usually 20-30 seconds until everything is synced to mobile when I open the app. That makes quickly opening the app to jot something down quite frustrating. I use my phone's native note taking app for that.

Featureful mobile app for your Obsidian vault. It works on your local directories (just like the desktop version) and also supports using the external shared storage, if you want to access your files from outside of the Obsidian App. This app has almost all features as the desktop - so it's not too oversimplified. I regularly use it to make smaller notes and changes directly on my phone rather than opening my computer.

UX needs to be improved. I bought the subscription but setting up synced vaults was so complicated I ended up losing my local vault in the process and did not manage to set up a synced 2nd vault. There was simply no option to. Had to ask for a refund. I'll stick to the free version and local vaults which work great and seem trustworthy. The app is a gem otherwise.
