I'm not sure if it is a bug, but for me, its "optimised" tracker consumes way too much battery. To be more specific for Samsung S23U on recent trip just over the course of an hour or two it consumed 7% when it wasn't opened a single time (tracker in the beginning of the trip was set to balanced). For the perspective, it is a similar amount to whatsapp consumption, except whatsapp was actively used to make video calls this time. Can't put a positive mark if it is like that.

Hi Iv, maybe your phone had issues finding the location where you currently were? We request the location from your phone. In about a week we will launch an update with a new tracking technology for balanced mode. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@findpenguins.com! Kind regards, Tobias

Very nice app, I could post together with my boyfriend all infos and pictures of our travel. An upgrade I would really like: The possibility to upload the footprint as draft so that also other people that are taking part to the trip are able to modify the footprint draft, before actually posting it. A small bug I noticed: When you have 2 consequent videos in your footprint the first one cannot be played normally.

Hi Elisa, it is possible to edit footprints on multiple devices before publishing it (by using the private switch). Please send us an email to support@findpenguins.com and we'll explain it to you more detailed. Also we'll check the video bug, thanks for that. Every start helps us! Kind regards, Tobias

Absolute game-changer for travelers! 🐧✈️ I am completely obsessed with the FindPenguins app. It effortlessly tracks your route in the background without draining your battery, letting you drop photos, memories, and footprints along the way. The best part? You can magically turn all those digital memories into an actual, physical hardcover travel book with just a few clicks! I'm already counting down the days until I can use it on my upcoming trip to Hawaii and turn that adventure into a keep
