About this app

**You must own a Synology NAS to run this app, and be running the latest Audio Station 6.0.0 package to get the complete set of features**

DS audio allows you to stream music stored on your DiskStation with your Android device wherever an Internet connection is available. Better yet, with the offline mode you can listen to songs stored in the device’s local memory for when no network connection is available. You can browse music by albums, artists, folders or genres, create your own playlists or share them with your friends, and even rate your music! And if you have dedicated stereo speakers at home, DS audio can also become a remote control to stream music to them.

Sometimes it doesn't force the client to login again after a session times out and won't say anything about it either. It just hangs and refuses to load media or any data from the server. Fixable, but needs to be addressed. Also, i keep changing the storage location for downloaded songs to my SD card and it keeps changing it back to internal storage. Lastly, I'd like for it to recognize the directory structure on the server and not lump downloads into a single directory instead of using tags.

So broken and not updated in 2 years. It's middling at best IF you can get it to function. App lockups, connection issues, UI and available options are in the most basic form I've seen from a digital music player in decades. I'd love access to my whole music library on the go via my NAS but alas this app is not up for the job.

I really want to love this but it's useless for listening to music on the go. You lose your login if your data connection changes, and then... I don't know what's going on under the hood, but the app keeps a bad token or something and can't play any music when it logs you back in. On top of that the interface is just really un-intuitive for a music player. Really wish the devs would give this an overhaul.
